All Criminal and Road Traffic cases start in the Magistrates Court.
More serious offences will be sent to the Crown Court but the vast majority of offences in England and Wales are dealt with by the Magistrates.
If you have been charged with an offence or summonsed to attend Court please call us. We will be able to advise you how best to deal with your case and will, where necessary, attend Court with you.
Legal Aid may be available to cover the costs of representation in the Magistrates Court. We will be able to advise you on this. but please see the section headed “Funding”.
If legal aid is not available we will quote a fixed fee for dealing with the first hearing, our quotes are based on the complexity of the matter and the location of the Court and we believe that they are competitive.
