Ian Wilkinson

Ian qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has specialised in criminal law since. During that time he has been a duty solicitor for both the court and the police station. Additionally he is a solicitor advocate which allows him to represent clients in Crown Court proceedings.

Ian has extensive experience in handling a varied case load which has in the past included everything from minor road traffic offences to complex frauds and murders.

Ian also maintains a close relationship with The College Of Law and is involved in the student mentoring scheme and assists in presentations to students considering a career in public funded legal services.

He also gives regular talks to police custody sergeants concerning the role of solicitors at the police station.
